PAL & NTSC Standards Conversion PDF  | Print |  E-mail
When you need your material converted from one system to another (PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL), you shouldn't have to worry about how it's going to turn out: will it look good, is it going to be in sync or if the time code will be right. Whether you're a student filmmaker or a seasoned pro, we can help you. We can convert, downconvert, upconvert, crossconvert... You name it.

Only at GRS, we have NTSC and PAL machines in all formats and several levels of systems converters from the industry leader Snell & Wilcox. We use Mach1 for most analog and medium quality conversions. We still have the original Alchemist Platinum for fine jobs. And now, we have the Alchemist HD with the latest software and all the options installed (Film Tools for 24p, time code and Dolby E). This gives us the ability to handle any SD conversion and any HD cross conversion request. To get a sense of the quality of this equipment, keep in mind that BBC will not accept conversions with any device but the Alchemist.
